History & Experience

Originally based out of Charlotte, VT, Landshapes was established in 1992 as a very small residential landscape company.  For the first few years the company consisted of the owner, Jason Hutchins and a few seasonal employees. 

Now located in Richmond, our large facility consists of administrative offices, design studio, holding yard (for trees, soils and stone), small nursery and full service maintenance shop.  Over the past twenty-five-plus years, the company has grown to become one of Vermont’s largest Landscape Design/Build companies and employs a full time staff of nearly 35 people.  Our projects now range from small residential to large-scale commercial in Vermont, throughout New England, and Upstate New York.
